Finding an Internship:
During the application process, member and partner institutions will be asked to provide laboratory opportunities for interns. A list of laboratories with internships will be made available simultaneously with announcement of the internship awards. Interns will then contact laboratories of interest to establish internships. Note that the posted intern position list is not exhaustive, and reflects only what GPBA is aware of. Incoming interns may arrange for an internship within a laboratory of any GPBA member or corporate partner, provided that the internship provides an opportunity for training in bioinformatics. All internships must be approved by the GPBA Admissions Committee before commencement. The intern and host laboratory will be responsible for all hiring, employment, and compensation details as required by the host institution.
